Terms of Service
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of ReceiptCap. By using ReceiptCap, creating a workspace, inviting users, uploading receipts, or connecting an archive provider, you agree to these Terms.
Service
ReceiptCap provides tools for receipt capture, AI-assisted extraction, review, approval, team administration, reporting, and archival to connected destinations such as Google Drive, Google Sheets, and Dropbox CSV ledgers. ReceiptCap is not accounting, tax, legal, or financial advice.
Accounts And Workspaces
You are responsible for maintaining access to your sign-in provider, protecting your account, and ensuring that workspace users are authorized to access workspace receipt data. Workspace administrators are responsible for managing members, billing, connected archive providers, and workspace deletion requests.
Customer Data
You retain ownership of receipt files, extracted fields, reports, and other data you submit to ReceiptCap. You grant ReceiptCap permission to host, copy, process, analyze, display, transmit, and archive Customer Data as needed to provide and improve the service, support users, secure the service, and comply with law.
Review Responsibility
ReceiptCap may use AI and automation to extract receipt fields. Automated extraction can be incomplete or incorrect. You are responsible for reviewing receipt data, categories, payer information, reimbursement status, totals, tax values, reports, exports, and archive results before relying on them.
Third-Party Services
ReceiptCap integrates with third-party services including Firebase, Google Cloud, Google Drive, Google Sheets, Dropbox, Cloudflare, Stripe, and AI providers. Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies. ReceiptCap is not responsible for third-party services outside our control.
ReceiptCap may also use analytics and monitoring providers such as Google Analytics, PostHog, and Sentry to measure usage, improve product decisions, diagnose errors, and operate the service. These providers must not be used to store receipt contents or payment card details.
Subscriptions, Credits, And Billing
ReceiptCap may offer free, paid, legacy, and usage-based plans. Paid plans and scan credits are billed through Stripe. Plan limits, included scans, credit availability, and feature access may vary by tier. Unless required by law or stated separately in writing, fees are non-refundable once charged.
Acceptable Use
You may not use ReceiptCap to violate law, infringe rights, upload malicious content, interfere with the service, bypass limits or security controls, access another tenant's data, reverse engineer the service, or submit sensitive information that is not necessary for receipt and expense management.
Availability And Changes
We aim to keep ReceiptCap reliable, but the service may be unavailable during maintenance, incidents, third-party outages, or changes. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features, plans, integrations, or the service as business and technical needs change.
Termination
You may stop using ReceiptCap at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create risk for ReceiptCap or other users, fail to pay fees, or if continued operation is no longer commercially or technically practical. Workspace deletion removes ReceiptCap-controlled records and internal storage, but does not remove files already archived to connected third-party accounts.
Disclaimers
ReceiptCap is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, availability, and non-infringement.
Limitation Of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ReceiptCap and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, business interruption, or costs of substitute services. To the maximum extent permitted by law, total liability for any claim relating to ReceiptCap will not exceed the amount paid to ReceiptCap for the service in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Indemnity
You agree to defend and indemnify ReceiptCap and its operator from claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from your use of the service, Customer Data, violation of these Terms, or violation of law or third-party rights.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable where ReceiptCap is operated, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless mandatory law requires otherwise.
Changes To Terms
We may update these Terms as ReceiptCap changes. The effective date above indicates the latest version. Continued use of ReceiptCap after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
